Learn the baduanjin (eight silken movements)
This is a powerful ancient set of eight practices. They embody the heart of qigong practice which is the equal cultivation of body, breath and mind. Regular practice will increase strength and and promote physical, emotional and mental health and wellbeing.
"Such a wonderful course. It is clear that you have a deep and lifelong understanding of Qigong and you present it in such a detailed and humble way. I've taken a few Qigong courses recently and the egos of the teachers seemed to get in the way of the teaching. You LOVE what you do and simply want to share it with the world. I am very grateful."
"Peter Deadman's knowledge and skill is remarkable. I hope to achieve this level of ability one day."
"This course was exceptional. I have been doing qigong for over 20 years and I was surprised to find how much I learned from this wonderful course. I will strongly recommend it to practioners as well as my clients.”
A comprehensive course
This is a comprehensive course on the baduanjin. It includes two introductory videos - a joint mobilisation routine and a three-part practice to deepen the breathing and help us enter the 'qigong state'. Each of the eight movements then has a dedicated video with introductory neigong (internal skill) practices appropriate to the move. Other videos include the whole form, standing practice, lower abdominal breathing and much more.
